Healing the hearts of children in the heart of Texas.

END OF SCHOOL

Our summer break will begin soon.  The end of the year is being filled with banquets (athletics, honors, FFA), parties and banquets for our seniors, final exams, and graduation!  Five of our Cherokee Home kids will be graduating next Friday night.  Please pray for them as they venture into a bright future.

CHC HIGHLIGHTS

Do you w
ant to help us share the Cherokee Home message? If you lived at Cherokee Home in the past, make us a short video that says:

"My name is (first name).
I am (a nurse, a mom with 2 kids, a Christian).
I was/am a Cherokee Home kid."

It should be about 15 seconds long. It does not have to be professional quality (feel free to record it on your cell phone, your webcam, or your digital camera). Share your story so that we can share the mission of Cherokee Home. Send your video to Dan at chcpr@centex.net.

On October 15th, Nettie Jean Randolph, executive assistant to the director, completed her 35th year at Cherokee Home. She has been a significant influence to all who are at the home, both staff and residents. She was recognized for her service with flowers and a gift at the annual Thanksgiving dinner. We love you, Nettie Jean!
